Velious, long ago, brought us the wonderful but slightly annoying zone called Sirens Grotto. When people hear about SG for the first time, they're always told to seek a Succor across the zone in order to get to Western Wastes. For most people, this is the last time they consider the issue, and for the rest of their days require a Succor to get across.
While not safe for everyone, nearly every player who belongs in Sirens Grotto or beyond it in Western Wastes can move across Sirens Grotto without any Succor, often faster than it takes someone to zone who has succored. There are 3 mobs you must directly pass who can see through invisibility, and they will aggro, and they will hit you, typically in the ballpark of 150 per hit; however this is no reason to stand at the Cobalt Scar zoneline holding up a raid or hunt, whining for a Succor. Since these see-invis mobs are right at the beginning of the dash, they're a danger everyone faces and everyone moves past. It is, however, recommended to have SoW and good Swimming skill. Keep in mind that no levitation spells function in this zone.
You begin at the Cobalt Scar zoneline, just outside the aggro range of a enthralled mob (molkor, ulthork, bulthar; if they see you, they'll aggro). They don't see invis and if you have it, you can move past this one safely. If not, here's where your dash will begin.
- 0-5 seconds
First, you move past the entrance mob, and you'll face water, and an insurmountable waterfall in the distance. North and slightly West of you now, there is an underwater tunnel. Dive in and aim for that. Just as you enter the tunnel, 2 mobs will attack you (seahorse and swordfish; they see invis and scowl). Keep going!

- 10-15 seconds
Move down the tunnel, past one last seahorse. It will seem to dead-end, but a tube has opened up above you. Face straight up and swim!

- 15-18 seconds
You've arrived at the top of the tube. There is only one escape, dive through the niche and into the water below. You have now passed that "insurmountable" waterfall! The mobs behind you are unable to follow, they wander back to their spawns, greatly dismayed.

- 18-25 seconds
While underwater here, you may find the wandering swordfish, but odds are you won't. If you have a fast invis, now's the time to use it. If not, carry on, you'll be fine. Heading North still, hop onto the land where an enthralled mob is wandering. If he's pathed over to the other side, this is a groovy place to quickly invis.
Get back in gear before the wanderer paths to you. If you haven't got invis, don't even stop. Run North looking for a tunnel leading to your left (West). You'll find it near the wall that's looming up ahead of you. Take the turn and follow the tunnel (West, then North, then East), it has no turnoffs.

- 25-30 seconds
Hugging the wall on your left, cruise straight to the end, past the double spawn of sea animals (servant sea elephant, servant manatee, servant walrus; they are indifferent but will have a go at you if you're pulling a train) - then hang the 90 degree turn out to Western Wastes. As soon as you've turned, you're zoning. You've made it!

Below is a reference map to study for your first run. The path is so simple, after feeling it out once, you'll be able to run it without a second thought and never need to ask for a Succor again.
